Project 2-From Pittsburgh to Morgantown

During my senior year of high school, I had my heart set on going to Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. My mother wanted me to go to  Duquesne University which is actually a hope, skip, and a jump from my house in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I had no intention on staying in Pittsburgh since my house is basically in Pitt's backyard.

Around April 2005, I received my financial aid award letter from Kent State and they wanted BIG BUCKS!! So, I re-evaluated my options and decided to attend WVU the day before the enrollment deposit was due. I officially became a Mountaineer on May 1st when my deposit made it to Morgantown.

During my freshman year, I lived in Pierpont Apartments.I did not know anyone before I came to WVU, but I quickly made many friends.
