Freshman year, I was really shy. I had to start all over from high school and motivate myself to be more outgoing to meet new people. As far as academics, I did pretty well. I had to re-program my studying habits in order to survive my first year of college.
Also, there were times when I got homesick but all I did was call my mom or a friend from home to cope with missing my family and friends. I met many new friends my first year of college, but there were a few that we connected on a higher level. One was my roommate sophomore year and current roommate and my boyfriend.
